CADSoftTools Releases ABViewer 9.1 Beta

CADSoftTools has released the ABViewer 9 Beta release. New features include a command line, the ability to select a command option by the mouse, support for LISP functions, a built-in LISP debugger, access to entities via an XML interface, and the ability to export to the DWG forma.
 
The command line allows users to enter commands by using the keyboard. Commands and command options are displayed in a dockable and resizable dialog box called the command line dialog box. The command line allows users to select a command option either by entering the letters capitalized in the needed option or by using a pointing device to click on it. An auto-complete function lets users type the first letters of the command to see the full command name.

The built-in LISP debugger allows users to expose the details of a LISP program's operation, while the XML interface provides access to a drawing's structure. The distributive contains a demo application that communicates with ABViewer by using DDE technology. The demo shows how to add, modify and delete the specified entities and how to get the drawing's structure in XML format.
