CAMWorks Handbook Now Available

The CAMWorks Handbook by Michael Buchli offers step-by-step instructions on creating toolpaths using best-in-class machining strategies. The book also covers the technology database, along with linking the database to SQL.

The book's 14 lessons illustrate a variety of useful CAMWorks commands. Topics covered include 2.5-, 3-, 4- and 5-axis milling. This book also demonstrates creating geometry from SolidWorks, using commands like Axis, Sketch and Coordinate system features.

The author has eight current SolidWorks certifications including the "Elite AE" award given once a year by SolidWorks. He is also a Certified CAMWorks Support Technician. Buchli has more than 12 years of manufacturing experience ranging from prototype design to CNC programming.
