CIMdata Adds AEC & Manufacturing Consulting Practice

By DE Editors

April 22, 2016

CIMdata, a provider of PLM (product lifecycle management) management, has added an AEC & Manufacturing Convergence practice.

According to a company press release, this consulting practice focuses on bridging the flow of data and integrating processes between manufacturing and the design, fabrication, and operation of facilities and infrastructure to reduce waste from project proposal through commissioning, reduce budget and timeline contingencies, improve quality and compliance, and better enable a seamless flow of information to support ongoing operation, maintenance and upgrades.

"We are extremely pleased that Edward Martin will be leading this new practice, working alongside CIMdata's extensive senior level consulting staff to expand CIMdata's consulting capabilities in the areas of architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and their links to the manufacturing industry," says Peter Bilello, president of CIMdata.
