CIMdata Announces PLM Simulation & Analysis Consulting Practice

New business practice will focus on $2.4 billion simulation market.

CIMdata has announced the formation of a new business practice focused on the growing importance of engineering simulation and analysis applied over the complete product lifecycle. According to CIMdata market research announced earlier this year, worldwide investments in simulation and analysis exceeded $2.4 billion in 2010, and are growing at an estimated five-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of ten percent.

The New Simulation & Analysis Practice will be led by Keith Meintjes, formerly of Collaborative Product Development Associates.
