Contex has announced its expanded relationship Kodak, which enables Contex Americas to bundle KODAK Capture Pro Software with its SD and XD series scanners. Capture Pro compatibility provides Contex wide format scanner users with additional imaging enhancement features for scanning wide-format documents.

Additionally, Contex will offer special introductory pricing for its XD2490 or SD4490 wide format scanner when purchased with KODAK Capture Pro Software and KODAK Service and Support. The introductory price ends Sept. 30, 2011.

The compatibility between Contex's wide format scanners and KODAK Capture Pro Software provides enterprises with a single interface to unify information at a central point of capture from large-format and standard-sized documents. The compatibility between the technologies also addresses production- and office-oriented capture needs, which both require scanning, capturing, and indexing. Production-capture handles a large quantity of documents on a per project basis, while office-capture processes a small quantity over time.
