Matrox has announced the MuraControl application for the iPad. Available as a free download, MuraControl transforms the iPad into a touch panel control interface capable of remotely managing input sources on any Matrox Mura MPX-powered video display wall.

MuraControl uses a network connection to interface between Mura MPX video wall controller boards and the iPad. The app replicates the video wall on the tablet screen so that users can intuitively drag, drop, and tap on windows on the iPad to create unique media layouts on the video wall in real time. MuraControl users may also choose from a large number of previously saved layouts and switch instantly from one layout to another.

MuraControl is compatible with all video walls powered by Matrox Mura MPX boards.
