The Coordinate Metrology Society (CMS), an association for measurement professionals, will hold its 27th Annual Coordinate Metrology Systems Conference (CMSC) from July 25-29, 2011 at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel and Spa in Phoenix, AZ.

This 5-day event is designed for users of portable 3D coordinate measurement solutions used on manufacturing factory floors or by science laboratories. Attendee registration is now open.

The Coordinate Measurement Society continues its Call for Papers for the 2011 CMSC. Abstract submissions will be peer-reviewed by the Coordinate Metrology Society and considered for presentation at CMSC 2011. The deadline for abstracts is March 1, 2011. Notification of acceptance will occur on April 1, 2011. For guidelines or more information about presenting a technical paper at CMSC 2011, contact Michael Raphael, technical presentations coordinator at [email protected].
