Corsair, ASUS Partner to Launch DDR4 Memory Kits

Corsair, a provider of high-performance PC components has teamed with ASUS to launch the Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 memory kits. They are available in speeds of 3300 MHz, 3200 MHz and 3000 MHz. The kits were developed in close collaboration with ASUS.

The kits, when combined with ASUS' new X99 motherboards, create some of the fastest, most stable PC platforms for the new Intel Core i7 processors, the company states. They have an industrial design patented for DHX technology for cooler operation and hand-screened ICs.

The ASUS X99 feature an enhanced CPU socket and DRAM trace layout to improve signal integrity. It is also coupled with a customized and refined UEFI firmware for easy setup.

“Our rigorous validation with ASUS has enabled us to make Dominator Platinum 3300MHz the fastest desktop DDR4 memory available at launch,” said Thi La, chief operating officer at Corsair. “Our OC team and engineers are excited to see such performance headroom the new Intel platform and are looking forward to releasing even faster kits in the near future.”
