Collaborative Product Development Associates (CPDA) will hold a Mechatronics Council Workshop in Cincinnati, OH, on April 22, 2010. Attendees will learn more about what members of CPDA’s Mechatronics Council have been doing to identify and prioritize requirements for integration across mechatronics domains.

Speakers during the first part of the workshop include Sky Matthews from IBM Rational Systems, Carolyn Pampino from IBM Rational, Dr. Stefan Jockusch from Siemens PLM Software, and Gerry Deren from Siemens PLM Software. CPDA’s Will Poirier will also present the benchmark results on the current capabilities of leading companies with the full integration of embedded software efforts with mechanical and electronic efforts.

The second part of the workshop will be spent in smaller groups focusing on the issues end-users are facing with mechatronics integration. Leading end-users will be on hand to share their own experiences.
