Creaform has launched the fourth version of the proprietary software VxScan. This program can now integrate data acquired by both a Handyscan 3D laser scanner and the HandyPROBE armless and portable CMM in the same referential and in real time.

The new platform makes it possible to create geometrical entities such as planes, lines, points, spheres, cylinders, or circles directly from scanning or probing data. These entities may then be saved in a format that allows direct exporting into most reverse engineering and CAD software.

The HandyPROBE armless and portable CMM, recently launched by Creaform, is powered by the C-Track 780 Dual-camera sensor. The VxScan software, supplied with the Handyscan 3D laser scanners and the HandyPROBE, is offered in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Japanese, and Chinese versions.
