Aha-Soft (Vancouver, BC, Canada) released its icon creation and management tool, Aha-Soft ArtIcons Pro v5.20, which offers professional and casual graphic artists all tools needed for designing, editing, and retouching Windows icons and managing icon libraries.

Version 5.20 of Aha-Soft ArtIcons Pro is focused on image processing capabilities to allow anti-aliasing while importing and resizing images to smooth out edges and eliminate errors. The perspective grid offers use of perspective in the process of creating the Windows XP style icons.

The image editor is improved and offers graphic artists more features, including the ability to create icons with several raster layers.

Aha-Soft ArtIcons Pro includes the ability to import icons from executables, image, and library files; the search and extract function enables artists to scan through the contents of a folder or a drive and arrange all images found in any files into a single icon library for easy and effective management. ArtIcons is equipped with all essential drawing tools and the native Windows XP icon format support enables artists to create 32-bit icons with 8-bit alpha channels.
