Concurrent Systems, a developer of multi-CAD PLM design data, project and document management solutions, has released DDM 2012.1 PLM solution.

According to the company, DDM 2012.1 offers a single, secure and trusted hub for information, optimizing the use of data currency throughout the enterprise. The new release offers significant core product functionality enhancements and supports the latest 32/64-bit versions of all mainstream CAD solutions.

Performance enhancements include a free search option that provides Internet-style search across multiple object attributes such as Name, Description, Material, etc.; search restrictions using query limits; primary and deputy approvers in workflow to prevent delays; management of PDF document previews; and management of ECAD data.
