Datakit has released CrossManager 2014.1, an update for CAD converters, along with plug-ins and SDK toolkits. The latest release comes with several CAD reader updates, including Dassault SolidWorks 2014 and Siemens NX9. It also supports the reading of DWG/DXF 3D and Rhino formats.

The company also announced that DHCAE Tools has licensed Datakit's technology to expand the range of CAD formats supported for CFD modeling. The company offers customized analysis solutions for CFD and finite element analysis based on open source solver technology.

In addition, Datakit has released new plug-ins, including NX 3D to Rhino 4/Rhino 5; Solid Edge 3D to Rhino 4/Rhino 5; and Rhino 4 3D to PDF 3D.
