devDept, a provider of .NET software components for the engineering industry, has released Eyeshot 2025, a 3D CAD software component designed for Microsoft WinForms and WPF platforms.
Eyeshot 2025 introduces several advanced features, including Assembly Mates, Section View, Find Similar, Solidify, and precise NURBS curve offset. In the field of Coordinate Measuring Machines, the update incorporates multiple 3D least-squares fitting algorithms and enhances the computation speed for signed distance calculations between points and 3D objects.
This latest release also includes Blink, a new standalone debugging tool that enables users to plot entities and geometric data directly from the Visual Studio Watch window, Immediate window, or within source code.
Eyeshot 2025 is now available as a NuGet package, supporting Microsoft .NET 8, .NET 9, and .NET Framework 4.7.2. It can be accessed via the company’s private NuGet server and is compatible with Linux and macOS operating systems. Additionally, the source code samples now feature WireEDM, ImGUI, and GroupSimilar.
