dSPACE Releases Power RealTime Library

The platform helps simulation capabilities for models developed in SimPowerSystems.

dSPACE has launched its new Power RealTime Library, a platform designed for simulating circuit models developed in SimPowerSystems.

SimPowerSystems is a blockset in MATLAB/Simulink that can simulate electric circuits and power electronics circuits based on schematic representation. Possible circuit elements that can be included in libraries are resistance, inductance, capacitance, semiconductor switches and transformers.

The library provides mean value models of power electronics bridge circuits that emulate the characteristics of fast-switching power semiconductor devices. Further blocks and functions for blocks and functions for easy integration of models in a synchronous rasters help avoid interference effects.
