DYNAFORM 5.9.1 Released

Simulation software includes revised optimization platform.

By DE Editors

October 16, 2013

Engineering Technology Associates (ETA) announced the release of DYNAFORM Version 5.9.1.  According to the company, the new version comes with a host of enhancements and additional features designed to continue the evolution of the simulation software's user experience.

This is the first update since the original release of the Optimization Platform (OP) Module, which offers users an automated solution for calculating the ideal locking rates for drawbeads. With the new release, the OP Module has been revised, including a reconfigured GUI that's been made easier to navigate, and an improved "Result Viewer" function, which has been modified to better address manufacturing concerns.

The 3D trimline function has also been modified so that two trimlines are created for double attached parts, with one in the current position and the other in the original position before.
