TraceParts, together with its partners KiM, crossbase, and Plan Software, has once again hosted the eCatalog Conference in St. Wendel, Germany.

A selection of sales and marketing support software solutions from the fields of CAD parts catalogs, product and sales configurators, the automated generation of print catalogs, and the use of CAD data for catalogs was on display at the conference. Adobe Systems, item Industrietechnik, HAWE Hydraulik, and Schaeffler Technologies (INA/FAG) presented their best practice solutions in areas related to the software solutions to round off the event.

With more than 90 participants from Germany, Switzerland, France, and the Netherlands, there was a significant increase in the number of visitors compared with the first event which took place in 2009. Visitors from the mechanical engineering, plant construction and electrical industries were able to find out about the latest products in the relevant fields and made use of the breaks to share information among themselves.
