AM-FLOW introduces AM-QUALITY, the latest in a series of products for additive manufacturing post-processing. AM-QUALITY is a production line intelligent device to enable quality control monitoring for every part produced in a 3D printing process.

The company says AM-QUALITY offers a cycle time of 10 seconds per part at a resolution of 50 microns. The device uses scanning to monitor parts, allowing it to identify issues including breakage, warping, surface defects and more.

AM-Flow CEO Stefan Rink says the company’s product line “will help the AM industry and increasingly be the manufacturing technology of choice for more and more applications.” Image courtesy of AM-Flow.

The product uses AM-Flow’s middleware solution AM-LOGIC, also used by other AM post-processing solutions in the AM-Flow line. AM-QUALITY feeds all data back to the client’s MES system. The company says this allows immediate reprints when necessary. AM-LOGIC also optimizes settings parameters for 3D printers and production equipment. AM-Flow says this creates a “true Industry 4.0” workflow.

Other products in the AM-Flow product line for additive manufacturing post-production workflow include AM-VISION, AM-SORT, AM-BAGGING, AM-PICK, AM-ID, AM-ROUTE and AM-EXPERT.

AM-Flow CEO Stefan Rink says the company’s product line “will help the AM industry and increasingly be the manufacturing technology of choice for more and more applications.”

The product will be publicly introduced November 15 at Formnext in Frankfurt. For more information contact AM-Flow at [email protected] or click here.
