ZWSOFT introduces the 2021 edition of ZWCAD, the popular drafting solution used by more than 900,000 users in 90 countries. This edition features faster graphics, new utility when working with referenced files, more options when working with viewports set as layers, and more.
ZWCAD 2021 sports an upgraded graphics engine, which the company claims is 30% faster than previous versions. Speed, stability and display quality are not compromised even when working on a 4K monitor.
The company says working with external references is faster, due to new preview and check-file features in a single panel. Clip-related commands including XClip have all been integrated into the single master command CLIP for working with Xrefs and blocks. Users can also use this feature to scale clip boundaries with grips and to invert XClip instances.
ZWCAD users may now specify the transparency of objects—including references—individually or collectively if they are in the same layer.
ZWCAD allows organizing viewports as layers. This makes it possible for the user to accentuate specific layer properties for each viewport. In addition, VpLayers can be selected with filters and reset options.
ZWSOFT says the value of table cells can be summed and averaged using formulas and mathematical expressions. Formulas are also available in the Field dialogue box. In addition, users may update the fields calculated with formulas using the REGEN command.
For users who port to external applications with custom software, ZWCAD 2021 supports Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 and the .NET interface 4.6.1.
ZWCAD is based on the proven foundation of Open Design Alliance SDKs.
