Etratech Plans Further Expansion into Medical Equipment and Device Market

The manufacturer is working towards its ISO 13485:2003 certification.

Advanced electronic controls design developer and manufacturer Etratech announced it is now registered with BSI Canada in the process of attaining ISO 13485:2003 certification. It will be completed this September, the company states.

With this certification, Etratech will have established a quality management system that showcases its ability to meet the stringent requirements of customers in the medical equipment and device market. The company specializes in manufacturing electronic controls for international original equipment manufacturers including the automotive, HVAC and security industries.

“We are committed to meeting the needs of medical customers by manufacturing their products in a manner that complies with or exceeds industry standards,” says Zaid Salim, director of global quality assurance at Etratech. “Having this certification will assure Etratech customers that we have the credentials required to provide services and products to this sector.”
