The scanner is equipped with a Microsoft Surface tablet and offers real-time visualization as point cloud data is captured. It can scan up to a distance of three meters and captures 88K points per seconds with an accuracy of 1.5mm. It is also lightweight, weighing only 2 lbs.
The FARO Freestyle3D handheld scanner.The Freestyle3D can be used as a standalone device or coupled with FARO's Focus X 130/X 330 scanners. The data collected from scans is integrated into the company's visualization tools such as FARO SCENE, WebShare Cloud and CAD Zone.
