p>GEOMATE Company (San Jose, CA) released GrafiCalc Expert 2008 digital prototyping software that combines the disciplines of sketching, calculations, motion simulation, tolerance analysis, and back solving in a single CAD-neutral application.

GrafiCalc Expert 2008 enables engineers to evaluate new product concepts, validate critical design parameters, and identify cost-effective manufacturing methods — before committing to expensive modeling and manufacturing resources. To help engineers reduce costs while significantly improving product quality, it incorporates enhanced function modeling tools; enhanced geometry Goalseek facility; mechanism simulation and analysis; transient data collection for Excel analysis; statistical tolerance analysis; reverse tolerance analysis; programmable geometry-synchronous calculators; and a bidirectional CAD and Excel interface.

GrafiCalc Expert 2008 is a Vista-compatible self-contained application that can be used standalone and in conjunction with Excel as well as all popular CAD applications.

A single user commercial license is $995; a single user educational/student license is $95. For more information, visit GEOMATE Company.
