IMS Software, developer of IMSpost for CNC post processing and IMS verify for CNC verification and simulation, has entered into a software licensing agreement with Geometric. Geometric will license IMS verify technology to provide G-code verification and machine simulation within CAMWorks, its parametric CNC machining software.

"Our customers can look forward to a superior NC programming experience with the ability to seamlessly, yet independently, verify the G-code in CAMWorks before running it on the machine," said Sameer Kondejkar, senior director and business unit head of GTS. "The partnership with IMS further reiterates Geometric's commitment of bringing the latest in technology to help customers save time and money in their day-to-day operations."
