Graebert has launched a new initiative to bring enhanced plug-in-based functionality to the SolidWorks DraftSight 2D CAD software it co-developed with Dassault Systemes. Designed to offer a range of new features and customizations to DraftSight, Graebert will directly partner with interested developers to leverage the company's deep technical understanding of DraftSight as well as its worldwide marketing capabilities.

This partnership extends across all supported DraftSight OS platforms, including Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and Linux, and is designed to provide the DraftSight community with extended features as well as new functionality.

Graebert is also showcasing its new "Convert to DraftSight" program, to partner with SolidWorks resellers to maximize the value of DraftSight for large and medium-size companies and facilitate transition from other DWG-based CAD packages, the company says.
