With the TESA Wireless Interface (TWIN) protocol, these probes offer stability during data transfer, the ability to be incorporated into a handheld device or attached to a measuring stand. The probes are also wireless and allow for freedom of movement during translations and rotations around the part to be measured, the company states.
The instruments can be connected to the TWIN-STATION receiver, which can manage and synchronize up to eight wireless probes simultaneously.
