Hexagon Metrology, a provider of industrial metrology technology, has joined the Salesforce IoT (Internet of Things) Cloud Early Access Program. The company's business development management for UX and Innovation spoke at Dreamforce about connecting data and the cloud with Salesforce's IoT Cloud and MMS PULSE.

The collaboration between the two companies, a press release states, will pioneer new applications and standards for the industry. At Dreamforce, Hexagon Metrology showcased the pilot program on its 4.5.4 SF CMM (coordinate measurement machine). The MMS PULSE system enables real-time monitoring of vibration, temperature, humidity and CMM status in manufacturing environments.

"Hexagon Metrology embodies the idea of becoming a precision enterprise," said Andrew Mackles, senior director of Product Management at Hexagon Metrology. "We are thrilled to work with Hexagon Metrology as part of Salesforce IoT Cloud early access program."
