Omega Engineering, Inc. (Stamford, CT) introduced the OM-CP-RHTEMP 2000, a wall-mountable data logger with the ability to simultaneously display remote readings of environmental parameters, including temperature and humidity.

The 8-button, lock-capable keypad and the large backlit LCD provide easy access to current data and recorder setup as well as memory and battery levels, sampling and recording status, and external power status. The available onscreen data includes statistics (min, max, average) for both channels; recording status (start, stop and recording rate); display options (channels shown, units, text size); and calibration information (date calibrated, date for recalibration).

This product has one of the largest memory capacities of any similar data logger on the market, says Omega, and will retain recorded data even when AC and battery power are lost. This product is suited for pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, computers, and lab industries — applications where monitoring temperature and relative humidity in any controlled environment are being done. The OM-CP-RHTEMP2000, which starts at $499, is CE compliant.
