IMSI/Design has released TurboReview, a 2D and 3D mobile mark-up solution for the AEC market that supports 3D PDF (U3D).

"Having a lightning-fast mobile app that lets you markup and measure a wide range of industry standard 2D and 3D documents, like DWG and 3D PDF, is a huge advantage for those in the field," said Royal Farros, CEO of IMSI/Design.

TurboReview also includes text that is "always facing" and arrow leaders that will snap to a 3D object. The system includes inquiry tools for distance/dimension, angle, perimeter and area, and a layer manager to turn layers on and off, and invert them. Users can view model space and paper space layouts in a drawing, and create screen shots of drawings and markups.

The system includes AutoCAD SHX font support and linetypes support, and the ability to quickly e-mail marked-up files.
