IMSI/Design Launches DoubleCAD XT Pro V2

IMSI/Design is releasing DoubleCAD XT PRO v2 in the same calendar year as Version 1 due to a rapid development pace.

DoubleCAD XT Pro v2 includes new features and enhancements, such as:

• Drawing Compare—compare two DoubleCAD (.2CD), .DWG, .TCW, .JPG, .BMP, or .PNG drawings for all visual differences.
• Hatch Pattern Creator—create, modify, and combine hatch patterns with control over scaling, orientation, and position.  Also includes automatic detection of repeating patterns.
• Exploding Viewports—convert visible geometry in viewports into flattened, editable 2D geometry within layouts, even hidden line views.  Conceptual views are also converted into standard bitmaps
• New and Enhanced 2D CAD Tools—includes Revision Cloud, Chain Polyline, Bisector Line, Minimal Distance Line, Select By Query, Transform Recorder, Surface Area Measurement, Double Point Arc tools, and more.
• New and Enhanced Architectural Tools:—includes more window, door, slab, rail, and profile styles, wall, stair, rail, door, window slab, and roof height, top and bottom wall modifiers, profiles for door/windows for custom shapes, and section and elevations tools.
• Xref support includes layer visretain and binding.
• Mid-point and pattern constraints.
• Terrain import and modify.
• Enhanced .DWG compatibility (now includes Index Color and CTB print style support).
• Enhanced .SKP compatibility (now import circles and arcs as those entity types).
• Enhanced .DAE (COLLADA) compatibility (now export includes instancing support for blocks, names, and layer info).
• File conversion tool for batch file conversions.
• Enhanced ESC key, spacebar, and enter key consistency for seamless usage.

Additionally, DoubleCAD XT Pro v2 now has a Software Developers Kit (SDK) to create tools, routines, and commercial applications that can run with DoubleCAD XT PRO.
