Infolytica Releases MotorSolve 5

By DE Editors

February 11, 2015

Infolytica Corp. has released MotorSolve 5. This version has updates for ease of use, responsiveness, scripting and efficiency maps. It also raises the bar of user friendliness by introducing a number of changes to the interface and modeling engine to make it easier and faster, the company states.

For the user interface, operations are now quicker. Setting values for the parameters as well as display updates have also been updated.

MotorSolve 5 includes a motor efficiency map that automatically plots the efficiency at different operation points. Users can base maps on quick linear approximation or accurate nonlinear computation. Surface force density plot has also been added to available result information.

Additionally, the customization batching and optimizations scripting function from MagNet is now included in MotorSolve. With scripting, all application commands can be accessed through APIs (application programming interfaces) from any programming language. For example, it is possible to run MotorSolve as an engine through a script.

The platform is available and compatible with Windows 7 or 8 operating systems.
