AMETEK's Precision Motor Control Division, a provider of programmer and controllable air-movement solutions, is offering a range of electronically commutated brushless motors, fans and blowers for OEMs (original equipment manufacturers).

These motors, the company states, provide design flexibility during the product development and a high level of product control and efficiency. Technical features include in-the-field adjustments, real-time diagnostic readings and more. Applications include medical equipment, high-performance business machines and other high-reliability applications.

The Windjammer and Nautilair blowers offer varying power units from 100 to 240 VAC, and the ability to control speed between 0 to 100% variation without adjusting the main power supply. The blowers are fully programmable, so no development of hard control schemes is required, the company states.

All devices are powered by AMETEK's brushless DC 12 or 24 motors, which have an optional tachometer output signal.
