Extensible CAD Technologies has released InspectionXpert for Pro/ENGINEER, an inspection report automation and ballooning solution that works within the Pro/ENGINEER interface. It allows users to automatically generate inspection report forms and ballooned inspection drawings.

InspectionXpert Brings Inspection Capabilities to Pro/ENGINEER®

InspectionXpert for Pro/ENGINEER comes standard with tools to eliminate manual tasks associated with in-process inspection in industries such as medical devices, aerospace, oil and gas, and automotive.  The software allows users to generate ballooned inspection drawings from dimension characteristics in Pro/ENGINEER models and drawings. It comes standard with AS9102 and PPAP inspection report formats. Custom templates can be created and users can export dimension information directly into Microsoft Excel. Users can also incorporate single sampling plans from quality sampling standards such as ANSI Z1.4 and Mil-Std-105E into quality inspection sheets.
