@Xi Computer has announced the latest version of its MTower workstations equipped with the second generation of Intel Xeon W processors. The workstations are available for immediate ordering.

Both the MTower CX and 2P64X workstations now support the W-2200 Series Xeon processors up to the W-2295 with 18 cores and 4.6GHz Turbo Boost clock, delivering the highest single socket, combined clock frequency, CAD workstation performance to date.

“These Series 2 Xeon W processors allow our MTower workstations to deliver a much higher performance at almost half the CPU price point of the original series. The premium to pay for the superior scalability and reliability of a Xeon platform is now substantially lower,” says Robert Bragaglia, marketing director at Xi Computer.

The Xi MTower CX and 2P64X are expandable to 256GB of 2666MHz Reg. ECC RAM and support NVIDIA Quadro and Tesla GPUs, to deliver personal high-performance computing power.
