IronCAD and Luxion announced the availability of "KeyShot for IronCAD" to the IronCAD customer community. This offering provides IronCAD customers access to KeyShot's rendering.

The solution enables users to create 3D models quickly and generate visuals for communication and collaboration. Using Luxion's LiveLinking technology, IronCAD users create new product designs and then work with them directly in KeyShot while maintaining assembly structure and model appearance. During the design process, users can update and make changes from within the IronCAD interface and have these changes automatically reflected in the rendered image. The changed geometry uses previous applied KeyShot materials.

"KeyShot is a great application for creating amazing visual representations of 3D models quickly with very little training or expertise in rendering," said Cary O'Connor, vice president of marketing at IronCAD. "Offering an affordable version of KeyShot to our IronCAD customers was a logical step to provide a wide variety of tools to meet their customers' expectations when communicating concepts, bids, or final marketing collateral."

"KeyShot for IronCAD" runs on the IronCAD 2014 Server Patch 1 with all the IronCAD products.
