Keysight Releases Newest Version of BenchVue

By DE Editors

January 7, 2015

Keysight Technologies has released the next generation of BenchVue. The software provides multiple instrument visibility and data capture, eliminating the need for instrument programming, the company states.

This release adds expanded data logging capabilities and compatibility with new instruments such as data acquisition units and power sensors.

The platform enables users to simply plug in instruments to a PC with a LAN, GPIB or USB and have them automatically configured. Data capture is exported with minimal steps. It currently offers data logging for digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal analyzers and power supplies. A mobile application is also available for engineers to monitor tests on the go.

"Since BenchVue's initial introduction, bench-instrument users have strongly embraced its ease-of-use in helping them accomplish their measurement tasks," said Rod Unverrich, senior software manager at Keysight. "The new software release builds on the capabilities our customers have come to love by further simplifying instrumentation usage on the bench."
