Keysight Technologies Launches Radar Analysis Software

By DE Editors

December 19, 2014

Keysight Technologies has launched a new pulsed radar analysis software. The 89600 VSA software's pulse analysis option can be used for radar and electronic measure applications for detecting threats and jamming responses.

When used with the UXA X-Series signal analyzer, the company states, designers can get measurements up to 510MHz bandwidth. The program also provides tabular statistical reports that include critical pulse parameters that are of interest to system designers.

Users of the Infinium oscilloscopes or the M9703A wideband digitizer now have a segmented memory capture function for reduced memory consumption and greater data capture.

Keysight has also updated the N9051A X-Series pulse measurement software to the N9051B. This new platform offers pulse analysis up to 160MHz bandwidth and up to 500 million samples of capture depth.

“In-depth pulsed radar analysis capabilities are essential for system design in aerospace, defense and electronic warfare applications, where mission criticality is at stake,” said Satish Dhanasekaran, marketing manager, Keysight’s Microwave & Communications Division. “The 89600 VSA software is just one example of the many ways that Keysight applies years of test and measurement expertise to the task of putting powerful and evolving software tools into the hands of the designers. This allows them to gain deeper and unique insight into their engineering challenges.”
