KISTERS has released version 11.2 of the 3DViewStation. Enhancements include a new  neighborhood search function, which helps to find parts close to a selected part. A new simple thickness analysis is also available via a single click on a part.

The direct conversion of any importable file format into any exportable file format including STEP, Parasolid, and 3D-PDF has been added, as well as views management to store different states of an assembly.
 
The new features of are available in the desktop version as well as in the ActiveX integration component.
 
The solution supports Catia V6, Creo 2.0, NX 8, JT 9.5 and STEP AP 242, as well as other platforms. In addition to standard view and analysis functions like measurements and sections the 3DViewStation provides a compare feature and exports, i.e., into STEP and 3D-PDF (both U3D and PRC flavors).
 
The system is available as a desktop and ActiveX product version, 32-bit and 64-bit, and ships with an Office 2010-compliant user interface. There are seat and floating licenses available.
