Knovel has announced Computer Hardware Engineering as its newest subject area. The new offering is designed to help electronics, computer, aerospace and mechanical engineers meet the requirements for electromagnetic shielding and control, increase the stability of the systems they design and improve the performance of computer-controlled and assisted equipment.

Knovel's Computer Hardware Engineering Subject Area features information on best practices, design guidelines, new technologies, innovative chip architecture and optimized system design. The subject area launches with more than 75 titles on circuit design, embedded systems and programming, networks and sensors, computer architecture, processors, memory and peripherals. This is Knovel's 28th subject area, and third subject area the company launched this year.

Knovel's Computer Hardware Engineering Subject Area provides a wide range of information including details about computer hardware design, testing and systems integration, and RFID/Wireless network connections. Other areas of information include circuit and chip optimization plans, managing electromagnetic interference, and designing new devices for manufacturability.
