KOA Speer Electronics has introduced the new WU73, a 1-Watt wide terminal low ohm chip resistor available in an 0612 package. The WU73 is a precision resistor offering resistance values from 10mΩ  to 100mΩ with a standard tolerance of ±1%.

The WU73 chip resistor features wide side electrodes which provide better heat dissipation and smaller size compared to other standard chip resistors. This wide terminal resistor is designed for high accuracy and current detection, making it ideal for automotive, telecommunication and consumer electronic markets, in applications such as power supplies, DC to DC conversion and AC adaptors, Automotive ECU and motor circuits.

The precision WU73 is offered with a T.C.R. as low as ±100 ppm and features a wide operating temperature range of -55C to +155C. They are suitable for both flow and reflow soldering.
