Kontron, a provider of embedded computer technology, has released its 3U CompactPCI board. The CP3010-SA integrates the 22nm Intel Atom processor, offering 1.91 GHz performance, low thermal design power and extended temperature operation.

The board is EN50155 compliant and designed with soldered processor and memory to handle shock and vibration environmental conditions, the company states. This makes it ideal for rail transportation, industrial and mobile applications. It also has a comprehensive I/O feature set and can be adapted for multiple applications. The CP-3010 is built with an Intel graphics core for enhanced performance.

The CP-3010 offers up to 8GB of DDR3L memory running at 1333MHz, on-board data storage via a CFAST or SATA Flash solid-state drive, and support for a PCI 32-bit CompactPCI interface.

According to Kontron, the CP-3010 ensures long-term availability for OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) with the Intel embedded product line. It also minimizes deployments by providing a broad range of product support that helps product integration and accelerating time-to-market.
