Matereality has released version 9 of its flagship materials management software. This update, according to the company, helps users streamline materials-related tasks for different roles in an enterprise. It includes master file management with integration to Altair HyperWorks, ANSYS Workbench, Abaqus/CAE and PTC Creo.

A new authoring interface has been added to the Data Grids function to let users fill in data gaps as they discover them. Data can now be integrated through the Dataloader Module via a Property Grid view. For the enterprise version, users can access an expanded materials specification management module and create application-specific materials.

For CAE users, Matereality has updated its CAE Modeler for direct file upload from the CAE Model grid. With this tool, engineers can upload and catalog simulation material files either singly or collectively.

The company has also added new data processing, analytics and statistical tools. Analysts can now create models of reasonable complexity, such as hyperelastic equations and non-Newtonian viscosity models. The Analyzer module can now compute statistical variance on numeric data and sophisticated error-banding for curve data.
