McLaren Software, a subsidiary of Idox plc, has released Enterprise Engineer 3.7. This is the latest maintenance release of the document management solution, with more than 70 new features including enhanced document viewing and mark-up, support for Autodesk AutoCAD 2012 and the latest versions of EMC - Documentum (V6.7) and IBM FileNet P8 (V5.0) ECM platforms.

Transmittals security has been upgraded to enable passwords to expire after a per-selected duration, to force the change of automatically-generated user passwords, and to provide more control over password strength.

Work Manager's user interface has been improved with the introduction of a new combo box control, enabling users to quickly and easily filter and find documents in large lists. Icons have been introduced to readily identify those documents which have associated renditions and marked-ups.
