MecSoft Europe GmbH has announced the release of MecSoft’s JewelMILL CAM software. JewelMILL provides computer aided manufacturing (CAM) to jewelry designers and goldsmiths.

MecSoft Europe Releases JewelMILL 1.0 Plug-in for Rhinoceros

It is specifically adapted to Roland milling machines, and integrated into the 3D modeling system Rhinoceros. It provides a jewelry model production solution that allows the user to manufacture wax models of rings, pendants, bracelets, brooches, earrings, and cufflinks.

Based on MecSoft’s ViusalMILL technology, JewelMILL’s wizard-based user interface offers support for 4-axis milling including simulation of finished 3D models. It lets designers review the simulated model on the monitor and send it to the Roland machine for production.
