Mellanox Technologies' InfiniBand solution was named by China Computerworld (CCW) Research as best interconnect solution for China's energy industry. Mellanox won the "2012 Innovative Solution for IT Service Award" based on combined scores that evaluated the innovation, effectiveness and influence of the solution.
CCW holds the annual Innovative Solutions for IT Service Awards program in order to recommend the best solutions for leading Chinese markets including financial, government, education, health care and energy. More than 260 entries were received for this year's awards.
"An increasing number of industrial users are concerned about the effectiveness of IT services, innovative applications, and want to learn about advanced IT technologies," said Chang Guo, vice president at China Computerworld Research.
