Visual Numerics, Inc. (VNI; Houston, TX ), producer of advanced numerical analysis and visualization software, announced that nCode International ( Southfield, MI), a developer of data analysis software, data acquisition systems, and durability solutions, has embedded the IMSLR C Numerical Library into nCode's ICE-flow GlyphWorks product.

Many automotive and aerospace manufacturers rely on ICE-flow GlyphWorks data analysis software, which provides a graphical, process-oriented environment that enables engineers to rapidly extract useful information from vast amounts of measured data. IMSL C Library's statistical algorithms include curve fitting for linear regression, polynomial regression up to 9th order, and spline fitting.

nCode also expanded its agreement with Visual Numerics to incorporate the IMSL C Library into the GlyphBuilder product option, which uses the Python scripting language and allows customers to add their own customized functions or analysis based on IMSL Library capabilities into the GlyphWorks environment. This expanded capability is scheduled to be released later this summer.
