The new ASME Digital Library consolidates the 22 technical journals and more than 100 conference proceedings from American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME; New York) into a single, seamless online resource on asme.org. ASME Press e-Books also are available in the Digital Library.

Users – including engineers, engineering researchers, scientists, academics, and library services – also benefit from functions and links for searching and cross-referencing that is available on a subscription basis. The content includes current ASME transactions journals and other journals dating back to 1990, more than 30,000 conference proceedings papers, and ASME Press e-Books dating back to 1999.

Users of the digital library have a full range of available information, features, and services facilitated by the Scitation platform. These include cross-journal searching, the ability to view individual articles online before the journal is printed, links to primary publishers and databases, and personalization tools.

The hosting service, Scitation, is a division of the American Institute of Physics, a nonprofit corporation that provides publishing and distribution services for scientific and technical societies. For more information, visit ASME.
