Asian Circuits, a Toronto-based contract PCB manufacturer that specializes in turn-key printed circuit board assembly, announced that its Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Service is now free to all electronic PCB assembly clients. The DFM service enhances quality and reduces costs by preventing electronic design errors and eliminating manufacturability issues before production, the company says.

The company established the DFM service to catch errors before production by having its design engineers review and verify the integrity of a client's design files.

"The DFM Service is one of the features of our PCB Assembly service that our clients highly value," said Qin Mei Kuan, technical support specialist at Asian Circuits. "By having our engineers verify a client's files, errors can be prevented prior to production, which in turn can significantly reduce the total cost of manufacturing. Offering the DFM service free to our clients is one more way Asian Circuits is committed to total customer satisfaction."
