CRP Technology (Modena, Italy) and Protocast srl recently signed a partnership agreement to extend and integrate their services.

Protocast srl will offer to CRP Technology their main services of SLM (Selective Laser Melding) and EBM (Electron Beam Melting) in the global motor sport market and their expertise in research and applications for the aerospace and medical sectors.

What CRP Technology brings to the table is experience in high speed and high quality CNC machining with 3, 4 & 5 axes, rapid prototyping (RP) and rapid manufacturing (RM) with SLS technology (selective laser sintering) and its own composite materials such as Windform, Rapid Casting (lost wax casting using patterns made by RP) in titanium, steel or superalloys, engineering and design optimization and reverse engineering service.

It is expected that the combination of the strengths of the two companies will be of great benefit to their customers.

CRP Technology srl says it has been instrumental in the success of many winning racing teams for more than 30 years. ProtoCast was born in 2005 with the aim of providing innovative solutions in casting and investment casting processes for titanium alloys, aluminum alloys, cobalt alloys and stainless steel alloys.
