Verisurf Software has unveiled Verisurf University, a new training offering for customers, educators and students seeking to improve their knowledge of Verisurf software, coordinate metrology and their practical application in a manufacturing environment.

"We offer a learning path to fit everyone's needs and schedule; Verisurf University is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week anywhere there is an internet connection," said Ernie Husted, president and CEO of Verisurf. "It is the ideal extension to our popular instructor led training."

The training program offers Internet-based video training through a standard Web browser. The curriculum provides learners with a theoretical and practical understanding of Verisurf X, and includes 12 courses that cover the user interface, measurement, alignment, analysis and reporting functions. Learners also have the option to earn a Certificate of Completion by successfully passing examinations following each course. A learning management system manages the user's home page and provides access to their account information, history, certificates, personal calendar, and courses. Additional courses in development include Model-based Definition and Inspection, Advanced Surface Analysis and Reverse Engineering techniques.
