Next Limit Technologies announced the release of Maxwell Render Suite version 2.6, a free update for Maxwell Render 2.x clients that includes new features and improvements for architects, designers, engineers and the VFX industry.
Enhancements in the new version include a hair rendering feature that is compatible with popular hair systems (Shave & Haircut, Maya Hair, Max Hair, Ornatrix, Cinema Hair); particle rendering; support for Vector displacement; referenced MXS files; and more.
The Suite includes a series of standalone tools for Windows, Mac and Linux in 32 and 64 bits, plus free access to the full list of plug-ins (more than 15 CAD/3D platforms are supported).
The company has also launched a new support center that includes tutorials, tips and tricks, FAQs, models, scenes and scripts as well as all the latest product and plug-in documentation.
